About

I’m a digital strategist, futurist and artist based in Washington, D.C.

Learn more about my offerings.

I was born in Norfolk and raised in Denver, La Serena, San Jose, Tabubil, Mexico City, Guangzhou and Maine. I’m a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where I earned an M.F.A. in interdisciplinary writing, and George Washington University, where I studied Chinese and East Asian studies.

I worked in public policy for five years after graduation, then moved to California for a decade, where I finally said yes to my capacious creative and professional interests. I’ve been back in D.C. since 2014 and have deep ties to the DMV.

For over a decade, I’ve helped creatives, cultural organizations, businesses and higher education institutions develop sustainable, effective digital marketing and communications strategies. If you’re a creative who needs a digital strategy or an organization that needs more digital creativity, I’m your human.

I’ve been reading cards since I was a teenager and study intermittently with Selah Saterstrom of Four Queens Divination. I use a Rider-Waite-Smith deck and read the cards in inclusive, non-binary ways. I believe divination is a collaborative tool for empowering individuals and institutions. As a futurist, I do trend analysis in collaboration with the oracular. If you’re a creative person or organization seeking empowering guidance, a card reading can give nurturing direction.

My creative practice is iterative, and includes literary art, mixed-media works on paper, and small sculptures and weavings made with locally-foraged plant fibers. Grounded in language, my work that offers time and space for ambiguity, bewilderment, discomfort, honesty, wonder and reckoning.
