Project Description

I began making drawings during readings, conversations and performances shortly after I started teaching at the Corcoran College of Art + Design circa 2005. We used Theories and Documents of Contemporary Art, edited by Kristine Stiles and Peter Selz, as a textbook. That course as much of an introduction to post-WWII art for me as it was an introduction to critical reading and writing for my students. These drawings are both documents/documentation and critical essays.
